Currently, maps are labeled as “1000+” whether they have 1,000 or 9,000 locations, even though the replayability is very different between the two. There should at least be a “5K+” tier, which would have the following benefits: It would encourage map creators to add more locations in order to reach a 5,000-location milestone (which is a more realistic and motivating goal than aiming directly for 10K). It would make maps with higher replayability* more visible and reward their creators with better exposure and potentially more players. (* when a map only has 1,000 locations, you may experience a repeat after only 45 games. With 5,000 locations, that number drops to around 100 games without any repeat — a significant improvement in user experience.) Similarly, I think a “25K+” tier would also be very useful, since the gap between 10K and 50K is currently too wide.
