Organising liked maps
complete

Hi GG team, I've recently started to take the game seriously and have started to build up a bank of training maps for various different things, from European area codes to Indian languages or just different world maps which have a different tilt. Already, finding maps can become unnecessarily time consuming. Could you please add some kind of structure within liked maps which enables players to organise those they have saved?

Orgainising the Liked Maps

I have a lot of maps liked and I noticed that it is really hard to find which map I am currently looking for. So it would be great, if the players could create folders like: "Area Codes" or "South American countries" etc.. In this way the "Liked Maps" section would be more aesthetic and the maps would be easier to access.

Liked Maps have been updated, we've added a search and you can now organize your liked maps with folders!

Awesome! Sorting by most played would be pretty cool too. Or is that too much data to store for each player?

Folders for maps

The title should be self-explanatory, but the point is that it would be cool if you could add a way to sort your own created maps into folders, like on Discord servers. Especially if you have created a lot of maps, it's easy to lose track. Another cool sorting function would be to be able to choose whether the maps (whether in the folder or not) should be sorted alphabetically upwards or downwards, just like in online stores (by price or date).

Categorizing liked maps

The feature to like maps is really cool in concept, but one thing is holding it back. Once you have liked a reasonable amount of maps, you just can't find a map easily in the liked maps overview. It's just faster to type the name in the search bar, even if the name is unwieldy like "An Arbitrary Rural World". And while this feature request is tagged Single Player, the same problem also applies to parties, where being able to select a map quickly is even more important because people are waiting. And typing the name there is even less ideal because you don't see the map title screen which sometimes means that you don't know if that's actually the map you want to play.
As a first step should the existing tag system be useable when selecting among your liked maps and in party mode.
For the liked maps overview to actually be useful there has to be another form of categorizing. Ideas could be a folder system, maybe even one level deep could suffice, or an expanded tag system where everyone can give their liked maps custom tags that only they can see. Reordering maps there would also be nice.
And while we're at it, the same could also apply to own maps.
After writing this I've noticed a couple similar feature requests. But since they don't consider party mode or building on the existing tag system I decided my post would add to the discourse.

Finding your favorite user-made maps while hosting a part is such a pain!

This so much! Especially now that the new ‘Creator Hub’ only shows 1 map per row instead of 5 as previously. Really need a way to organize maps into folders when you’ve got 50+ or even 100+ maps :D.

Oh yes please

I think a good way to do this would be to have folders, where you can organize your liked maps. This would also be nice to do with your own maps.

I've seen a similiar request like it, but with folders of maps created by your own. With popularity of "A Learnable Meta" script and variety of duels maps my Liked Maps Tab had become a mess. I wish we could create folders in our "Liked Maps" tab to sort out practice, fun maps etc.
