EDIT: Appears to be fixed now. Thanks GG! Now there's no way to see your overall placement after the Daily Challenge (by percentage) and there's no way to scroll past the top 25 in a category either. Please let those stats be seen again

I never miss a daily challenge, but a very cool feature would be to choose the mode (Move/NM/NMPZ). I always play no-moving, and I would like to be ranked among the people who play the same game mode as me, to compare with my friends' scores without having to select the ones who made 0 steps, and to have a reliable national/global ranking. Additionally, this would avoid accidental clicks.

Please bring back the percentile stats and also allow you to see what your rank was if you were below 25? Also, having an 'ad' for playing the challenge on mobile covering up part of the actual map is rather unaesthetic. Perhaps it could be put it somewhere else? Thank you.

The Daily Challenge used to show one's rank and the total number of players. This was fun to keep track of! Suddenly, this information is missing (Apr 2, 2026). Please return this information -- I've been keeping track almost every day since January 2021, and other people (on the Daily Challenge Reddit Page) have also expressed dismay that the rank is gone. Thank you!

It would be nice if there were separate Daily Challenges for Moving, No Moving and NMPZ. I play Daily Challenges No Moving, and it would be nice to not only not accidentally take a step, but also to be ranked amongst other players that play the Daily Challenges No Moving.

One of my favourite parts of the daily challenge was the fun facts. It feels lower effort now with the occasional metas. I think that having meta hints is best fit for a different game mode for beginners.

Hello, I am a fairly new player but have been in the geoguessr community for quite some time and already have some friends on geoguessr. Some of them are really experienced players. I mainly use the daily challenge as a training. So sometimes having my result exposed to my friends and seeing their results can be a bit disheartening. The possibility to keep my daily challenge results private and to hide my friends' results could help quite a lot when I am not in a confident mood.

You used to be able to see the replay links in the old daily challenge interface. They seem to have been removed in the new interface. It was nice to be able to see how other people got rounds that you didn't and I think having the links available is also a good way to make it harder for people to cheat on the Daily Challenge (or at least for it to be more obvious if they are!).

It should be easy enough, to train AI to catch the most obvious of cheaters, in the Daily Challenge. Isn't it interesting that the number of 25K scores, even by players who have thousands of games on their record, went down by a lot, after the replay option on everyone appeared? Even good players cheat. But AI can learn to catch them. The obvious ones, with 0 steps and 25K after spending less than a minute on each round, are so obviously cheating that they should be banned immediately. No question. And I saw very good players that probably weren't aware that the option was there, cheat, rampantly. It is very frustrating, that so many cheats, and some are very good at it. No obvious close to 5K rounds, or they only cheat when they are in danger of losing. Without improving anti-cheating tools, the number will rise. So to be ahead of the curve, is important.

When I'm playing the Daily Challenge, I often accidentally click through the trivia for the rounds and it'd be really nice to have a way to see them after you have finished.
