Allow players to play missed Daily Challenges as practice

I think it would be great if players could access and play past Daily Challenges, even if they missed them on the original day. It wouldn’t count toward the daily streak, but would simply be available as practice challenges. The Daily Challenges are very well-designed and could really help players improve, especially in movement mode. I'm thinking about starting to play them daily and felt I could learn a lot by reviewing and practicing previous ones.

I second this request. Life gets in the way sometimes and, as happened to me today, I didn't get a chance to get to geoguessr until 3 minutes past the deadline :-( I'm not competing against anyone, just trying to enjoy the game and educate myself.

You could just use the catalogue of maps already available and just run with the same settings ie 3 min moving and practice as much as you would like to.

Stutri2du No, you cannot. Then you won't be able to see how you would have done in your local country, for instance.

Heliks How so?....he's not talking about comparison of performance! whether country/globally/club etc..... he's saying they would be useful for 'practice' to become a better player.... I am saying you can use any of the maps already available to do that (using moving (as he specifically mentioned this mode) and setting to 3 mins, ie same as the DC) .... and use for practice... which was answering his point (not seeing how he does against specific players in specific countries so your comment is moot and has no relevance to his original post or my reply)

Stutri2du Well, yes, I agree to that, you're right, of course. It's more my personal loss: i missed out yesterday. Didn't lose my streak, but I would have like to have played it informally, not for practise, but for comparison within my country result.

Heliks for comparison it would be ideal there used to be a work around if you missed one that we kept a link on our discord, but I think when they implemented Freeze it stopped working?... you could try https://www.geoguessr.com/daily-challenges/2026-04-15
