Bug reports

In the past month me and my friends experience a really infuriating bug. We queue into team duels, get into the lobby waiting for the opponent team, the game starts and we are still in the lobby! The game is actually going, but we can't see it until we refresh the page. After refreshing we get into the actual game. We lost couple of games due to this bug. Sometimes it glitches, sometimes it does not.

it always shows most popular maps there whatever i search . also i cant find a lot of maps upon searching them on search bar

Been trying to change my password for the past month and it seems I've not received the instructions email on either of my multiple attempts. Mentioned it in the feedback channel in the Geo server and someone else said they were experiencing the same issue. Obviously checked that the emails aren't going to spam. And I keep receiving emails with weekly feedback, responses from support, etc, so I suspect the issue is on Geo's side. Perchance the service is down?

Not a bug per se, more of a content "bug". The card attached mentions elevated streets and as an example it mentions the Embarcadero Freeway, which no longer exists. It also shows a picture of the San Francisco hilly roads, which doesn't quite go with the text. Maybe it could mention highway 80 instead and have a picture along the lines of the attached one. Based on my previous bug (1. link below), which seemed to be fixed, but revealed another issue - my profile shows a partial list of friends. This is when the panel on the right shows only 47 friends who are constant and unchanging, whether they are online or offline. The rest of the friends are never visible, there should be 330+ of them. And apparently the fixed activity display bug only shows my activity to 47 friends from a partial list. The rest are still not showing anything. I tested this with a few friends. Searching for friends not on the list 47 does not lead to anything. This creates a problem in finding friends in challenges, team duels, invitations to the club. This bug is the same in the browser version of Geoguessr for Google Chrome and Opera, but it is not in the mobile version for Android. It displays all online friends and shows a full list of friends. I understand that I probably have too many friends, but how else can I grow my own community if not by adding players as friends!? I see other reports with similar bug, so please solve this problem. Good time of day to ya lads, there is a problem surfaced from nowhere. Like 3 days ago i discovered that i cant save rules in my club after editing, and its only happening if you make a paragraph(indent) using ENTER of SHIFT+ENTER. It wasnt like this when the clubs got released earlier, i could redact and use indents as normal and it was saving. Please look into this, i cant stand a lot of text in one big line. Since a few days ago, the bot for posting and sticking the Daily Challenge posts is broken. The bot is run by Mahbows. I don't know their relation to Geoguessr and the community, but as far as I can tell, they haven't posted in r/geoguessr for a long time, outside of the Daily Challenge bot posts. I've taken over the role of posting those every day for the last few days, since I write daily logs anyway. I can make the posts but I can't stick them. Which leads me to the next request which I've been thinking about for a while anyway. This would be a good time to ask to become a moderator in the subreddit. At this point I have a 2-3 year post history in r/geoguessr, and not just the Daily Challenge logs. I also have experience with moderation tasks in other communities, although not specifically on Reddit. My main pledges as moderator would be as follows: Try to set up and maintain a bot to handle the Daily Challenge discussion posts. Go down hard on the "where is this posts" that people are making. Overhaul the common resources sidebar links and wiki pages which are outdated in many cases.

When creating a challenge I can only select 50 friends the other ones won't show up. Sometimes when I wait a little while the rest of my friendlist pops up but this occurs somewhat randomly. I can invite the missing friend by sending them the challenge link but this is pretty annoying.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please add a simple button or system in steam edition to connect your web geo account later, or log out of steam account properly to reset it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People should not have to email support to manually log out of their steam account in steam edition, to connect the web geo account. It is incredible that this should be so difficult and not considered. Many people will be coming from the web version and their built up and paid for accounts there, and it is virtually broken to easily connect up with steam account, if you understandably clicked log in with steam at first. Please implement this. Or even help people in their manual workaround and add a proper 'logout of steam account', even less work for you. I understand the steam version is basic for now, but that doesn't mean it should be so broken in account management. Many thanks
