I recently noticed a SERIOUS and UNACCEPTABLE ISSUE with the map of Türkiye in GeoGuessr. When I opened Singleplayer>Classic Maps - The current map of the country completely excludes Istanbul’s European side and the entire Thrace region, which is a massive geographical and cultural misrepresentation of the country. I don’t know if this was an oversight or a deliberate decision, but either way, it’s a MAJOR PROBLEM. Istanbul is Türkiye’s largest city, its economic powerhouse, and a historical bridge between Europe and Asia. Cutting off its European side distorts not only the geography but also the gameplay experience. Thrace (the entire region west of Istanbul) is home to cities like Edirne, Tekirdağ, and Kırklareli and key parts of Türkiye’s identity, history, and landscape. This mistake affects the ACCURACY and INTEGRITY of the game. Players relying on GeoGuessr to learn geography or enjoy a realistic challenge are being misled. Imagine if France was shown without Paris, or the UK without London it would be absurd. I urge you to immediately review and correct Türkiye’s map. If this was an UNINTENTIONAL MISTAKE it needs to be fixed ASAP. If it was intentional, an explanation is necessary because excluding a major part of a country’s internationally recognized territory makes no sense. Looking forward to a response and a fix soon
