Game chat is on even though it is set to off. It's not multiplayer, why is there even a chat function here.

This is not a bug, but actually tied to a new feature which you can read more on here

The announcement indicates that the "feature" is disabled if animations are off. But this does not appear to be the case. I have animations off and the hotkeys still produce the emotes. Please disable this entirely unnecessary and annoying behavior.

Marcus It would be great if this information could be posted to a public forum on the Geoguessr website itself instead of hiding it behind a Discord server.
