Wrong step count in challenges

I played some coop moving with friends and we had a surprise in the result table. The steps count was very wrong on the challenge for everyone, for example I have more than 3k steps on a 35sec round 1 where I did less than 10 clicks. the game link is here : https://www.geoguessr.com/results/AAGJdADbNT5bOJS0
