Tournaments are only shown on the home page. Most people in the higher tiers spend very little, if any time on that page and miss the timer. Tournaments have been on the multiplayer page for nearly 1 1/2 years, but they were hidden under unranked, another tab high level players rarely use. I noticed a huge spike in players when they got their own tab recently (going from tier 1 to tier 3). Sadly, with the most recent UI change they were hidden again and now I am tier 1 again. I think it would be better for the tournament population and also just make sense to place them under the multiplayer tab, I would think it would even be better if there was a little counter on the day of, or perhaps one hour before the tournament starts on every page in, for example, the bottom right.
