No. It should be like any other competitive club system, where there is a cap on how many players you have. You dont see the NBA, or NHL, or NFL, or MLB, or soccer leagues with teams that have unlimited players on the roster every game.
Now that said, I do think, being able to have more players, but they are on a "reserve" roster that you can call in if someone is inactive, is fair. You can have whatever the cap is on your roster, and unlimited reserves....but their stats only count when they are on the main roster to replace someone that has gone inactive, or, arent perhaps performing well enough for the team.
But there should never ever be a time that a club with (whatever the max is now) has to compete with a club that has 350 active members, you simply can not score the same amount of points in some of the challenges. A cap is absolutely vital.

Canadagraphs yeah I like that idea. have unlimited members but limited slots. if someone underperforms, you can remove them from the slot without kicking them from the club, then anyone else can take their slot or have it so slots are admin controlled. that way people can fight for their place in the team, boosts competitiveness.
