Thank you for the feature request! We have added a chat message when a teammate has pinged. When a teammates ping is not currently inside the boundaries of your guess map, it will now show on the side of the map in the direction of where the actual pin is!

Yes, if your teammate is zoomed in or has sound off, they won’t notice it

Possibly have a notification symbol show up on one of the sides of the map, pointing in the direction of the pinged location.
