GeoGuessr has recently changed the UI of duel party from the old version to the new one. While the new UI works well for World League, I would like to suggest adding an option that allows the game master to choose between the old UI and the new UI in duel party mode.
The reasons are:
  1. The new UI does not show the distance between the player's guess and the correct location. It only shows the points at the end of the round.
  2. The new UI reduces the size of the player’s screen and changes the aspect ratio of the image. This makes the gameplay view smaller and slightly different from what the player actually sees.
  3. The new UI does not leave enough space for overlays. For example, if we want to add a total score overlay (such as tracking wins in a BO5 format like the one used in the latest GeoGuessr Pro Team Duel live stream), the overlay would block the round score shown on the screen.
For these reasons, it would be very helpful if the game master could choose between the old UI and the new UI when hosting a duel party. If it is not possible to add a UI selection option, I would greatly appreciate any improvements to the new UI that could restore the features and flexibility mentioned above.
