Following is the use case that motivates this request. I have created a map called "2025-26 US Gerrymandering War." It was a lot of work to map out all the gerrymandered districts. But a recent court ruling overturned one state's gerrymander. If I delete this district but a later court ruling reinstates it, I'll have to map it all over again. So what I really want to do is disable this polygon without deleting it.
