What about adding a last chance after you get more than 5000dmg so basically you cant get multi dmg and drop out instant. For example I have 5.5k and my enemy does 3.2k damage on 2x multis I wouldn't lose instant instead I'd have 1 hp left. It is frustrating to win every round to multis and then loose it because of a wild nmpz gamble round or so. Last life would be a blowout protection.

A simple canonical scoring format would be to start at 6000 HP and then after every 5th round (5, 10, 15, ...), the losing player is cut in half and the winning player is deducted that same value. The winner will always win on raw damage for anyone opposed to multi-drama.
