Improvements to the Map Creator: Polygon Selection, Bulk Deletion, Map Versioning, Integration with map-making.app

Hi everyone,

I would like to suggest a few improvements to the map creator to make it more complete and efficient. Here are the key features that would be great to implement:

Polygon Location Selection: It would be very useful to be able to select locations using polygons. This would allow for more precise management of geographic areas and make location selection easier.
Bulk Deletion of Locations: Adding the ability to delete multiple locations at once would be a huge improvement. Currently, deleting them one by one can be quite time-consuming, so a feature that allows for selecting and removing multiple locations at once would be very beneficial.
Map Versioning: A versioning system for maps would be extremely useful. Being able to manage different versions of the same map would help keep track of changes and, if necessary, revert to a previous version.
Integration with map-making.app: It would be fantastic if the GeoGuessr map creator could integrate with map-making.app, allowing maps to be imported and exported between the two platforms. Such an integration would make the process of creating and managing maps smoother and greatly enhance the overall experience.

I believe these improvements would make the map creator experience much more efficient and user-friendly. Thank you for considering these ideas!

Item 1 Not sure if you want additional fuctionality than is currently available with these suggestions, but you can use a polygon now, the down side is you cannot manually edit and add individual locations or if you start by adding locations individually you cannot use polygons. It is one or the other.
Item 2 agree bulk deletion would be a good feature.
Item 3 map versioning I agree it would be handy for the map maker. For now we only have the updated date to go by.
Item 4   is already possible output the map from Geoguessr as json or csv using the 3 dots menu in the far right menu.
There is another map making app as well that you should consider, called map generator. On the community page there is a link to map-making app and map generator. Polygon maps are also available with map generator.

By polygynous I don't mean the ability to generate locations, but the ability to select locations within a specific area (like in map-making). Useful for example to add a comment to all locations (the new feature that was recently added).
I personally don't use that map generator, but Vali (a tool by SlashP).
