Improved NMPZ audience experience
Riandur
While I recognize that NMPZ already is well-liked as competition form for the apparent difficulty and unpredictability, I've found that it could easily be improved for audiences. The big downside it has over moving and NM is that, in the other modes it's easy to see what the players focus on which both lets the audience follow, simplifies for the casters to comment what's going on and creates motion on screen.
NMPZ does neither of these as-is, so I suggest that for geoguessr-sanctioned live tournaments you should use eye-tracker technology for that mode in particular. A round would then be displayed on three screens, one with the normal picture (for play-along etc) and one each showing the eyetracking of the two players. Not only would this give a view into the mind of a pro for the audience, it would also let the casters know what each player has checked and gives them more relevant things to talk about and explain.
