Fix Multiplayer/Ranked
CxD
Why am I in low elo (bronze. silver, gold) not able to play NO-Move or NMPZ? Some players, like me, just think moving isn't as much fun.
Why is there no unranked solo mode?
Why is climbing in low elo only dependant on how much games you play and not how well you do?
Why are ladder updates only once a week? This only further encourages smurfing, since you can stomp through low elo without worrying about stronger opponents.

No move play

I think you need to change the way the rank goes from silver to gold without waiting 7 days, or change the no move game, for example I'm a new player, but I think the no move game is much cooler and more challenging since it makes it impossible for people to look for signs and cheat by searching on Google, etc. So I think you should fix the rank or release no move from the silver rank.

As Cal said, you are the 296787902068th person to whine about this.
Its like asking to compete in the college championships, when you still havent proven you have what it takes to win at the high school level.
Master walking before you ask to be placed in a running race.

This has been discussed to death. Get better at moving or wait a week to level up.

Practically all these things have been asked here multiple times, you coulda just upvoted any of those.
But lemme try and give some insight into why you want get what you want on any/all of these.
1 - Ranked hidden behind tiers. Plain & simple skill issue. The vast majority of Bronze/Silvers can barely tell you the capitals of countries in the game, let alone any details about the country beyond that. While there is the rare exception to the rule, at the end of the day, they need to make the game appealing to the masses, not the exceptions. Thus limiting unskilled players to the mode that gives them the best chance at doing well is probably the best overall option for the majority.
2 - I think this is the fairest Q of them all. I assume it simply comes down to the sheer quantity of the player base it would pull away from possible comp queues. Theres already insanely long q times for higher tiers, adding in another mode to pull players away from the comp would be a problem w/ wait times.
3 - Climbing in Elo is ALWAYS dependent on how you do. I think you are mixing up Elo w/ division/tiers. The div games are capped @ 10 or 20, because there HAS TO BE a set # for them to base the results on. If they didnt, some would just play 200 games in a wk to try and promote if points were unlimited. But the games beyond the 10-20 mark still matter, just not in ranking up. They matter in your overall Elo, which is more important anyways.
The amount of people I see complain about this is baffling. Its a week, not a year. There are leagues happening that only rank up once a Month, others that are even longer. A wk is almost nothing. The people you think this is encouraging want to get into Champion div even worse than you want them there. This system prevents them from creating a new acct, running up a shiny new 2100+ Elo & 100% Win rate, & being near the top in 4 days. Now they have to wait 2-4 wks to get on there. They are far more likely to play through the account instead of abandoning it & creating another 1 as soon as they get it on the leaderboard, like used to be the case. In the old system, there was 1 point where there was 6 accts from the same player in the top 100, 4/6 accounts had less than 100 games played. Now you actually have to put in time to get on there, & have to stay active to maintain it. Theres still people that create alts. But its down like 80% from the days where it was free to create one, & there was no barriers to getting on the LB.

If a player is struggling in a moving game, it doesn't make sense for him to play No Move or NMPZ, he will make even more mistakes, and end up giving up the game.
He will improve over time and will be able to play the other modes better.

icarneiro i appreciate this view, and it makes sense, but it does not match with my experiences. I am very bad at moving quickly using the google UI (not to mention internet speeds mattering more on moving), and cannot seem to improve at it. Similarly, I am much better at vibe guessing than I am scanning the map for names I find on signs. The second no move became available for me, I suddenly got much better than those I would consider my equals at the moving game mode.
Similarly, I noticed the frequency of obvious cheating went WAY down with no move, and cheating was much more likely to make me "give up on the game" than simply making mistakes was.
I am now well past silver, so it's not an issue for me personally. But I have trouble getting my friends into geoguessr because none of them have any interest in playing the moving mode (just like I felt when I started).
