Similar to World League style gameplay, it would be great if duels had an option to incorporate all of the current game modes (Move, NM, NMPZ) in a single game against a single opponent. How I envision this could work:
  1. Coin toss / wheel spin to randomly determine which player can pick the Round 1 game mode (Move, NM, NMPZ)
  2. Alternate player picks the Round 2 game mode
  3. Round 3 is the leftover game mode
  4. Players play best out of 3 which affects ELO for game modes played
Pros:
  • Builds "all-rounded" players
  • Adds dimension of fun and chance as part of game mode picking and playing process
