I finally decided to buy the subscription in order to play ranked in geoguessr because I want to be challenged.

I know I am descent at the game (I estimate myself at a high gold/ low master level based on some friends I play with).

I thought that I could play as them or as my favourite youtubers but it turns out that I am blocked for three weeks with silver opponents with only big cities ?!? What a disappointment ! I want to have fun right now !!!

I have nothing against the current ranked system, I think it is not that bad. But there should definitely be more placement games as other video games to make sure that every players start at a correct elo.

What is the point of the first placement game ? I won my first 18 games in a row and I am still jailed in silver.

When I see some player I face in ranked, I am clearly not the only player in this situation.

You have to do something.
