Any chance for a badge for a 2K streak in Daily Challenge?
MMtracy
Congrats on getting to 2k, bro.
I kind of think 1000 days is plenty for the Achievement badge, though. If the top bar is set too high, I think you run the risk of players just 'NOPE-ing' out entirely.
I personally found the 1k to be a real grind at the end and I wasn't having fun anymore. The streak owned me, so I needed a loooong break after it was done (for many months I would only play the DC when it was the daily mission). I really needed to re-discover some of the fun that had been lost.

MMtracy Oh dear, it certainly wouldn't be much fun if you let it own you. But why would you see that as a top bar? What about 3 or 4K? If someone has hit those points, I'd love to know, and would find it delightful and encouraging.
Badges mean different things to different people, it seems. For me, it's more of an acknowledgment than a challenge. I do make sure I play every day to keep my streak, but I've never had a streak goal. I just like to play. Most days I don't think about the streak at all.
It's entertaining when my streak hits a big number, but I'm not grinding to get anywhere. However, when I do hit a big milestone number, like 2K, a badge would be very nice, and I would hope nobody would see it as a reason to feel bad or give up on something.

Nanjnan , I think I misinterpreted you initially. After reading your response here, it sounds like maybe you're talking about an additional 'flair' next to your name (like the ones for Content Creator, Verified User, and Pro Elite). Is that correct? (If that's the case then I don't really have an issue except for potential clutter.)
At first I thought you wanted to expand the Achievement badge 'completion point' past 1000 (https://www.geoguessr.com/me/achievements and btw I had already forgotten they generalized that achievement recently). My reference to a top bar pertained to setting the completion point even higher where it's unrealistic for the vast majority.
Sorry for the confusion.

MMtracy, I meant have another achievement badge for higher numbers. Keep 1000 at 1000, but then have an additional one for 2k. Or higher if there is anyone with more. There are different badges for lower numbers, so why not for higher?
