Add rating progress graph in profile
Valhalla
Agreed because it can also help you show that you didn't suddenly get good if your rating was bad and suddenly you are very good, because sometimes you have a good elo and then you get unlucky (or like me a friend ruins your elo and win streak by playing on your account without permission) this could show how your elo dropped and your climb back up.

Graph showing evolution of Elo
Loars_
This feature would add a graph on the profile of the player, showing the course/evolution of his/her Elo (in months would be my suggestion). Furthermore it would be nice to add areas separated be vertical lines, showing the division the player was/is in. There will be differences, as not everyone was in all the new divisions. There probatly could be a horizontal line at the high as the current Elo is. The graph is shown on the profile. I whould suggest to add a button with “show graph“ so it doesn‘t need space if you don‘t want to see it. The graph could look like the one below but in the typically purple of GeoGuessr.

No thanks, I don't need to constantly have my ELO pushed in my face. Seeing it often gives you negative feelings and I'll associate the game more with negativity. The focus on this one number has gone too far in many games, constantly having to be reminded of how you are doing. You don't do this with grades in school, and you shouldn't do this here. Even though it is just a leisure activity.

FL1ppY for me it would be interesting how I performed over time, especially while my first times playing. Furthermore you can delete every information on your profile so you don‘t need to see it.

If GeoRank (fan-made tracking site) can do it, this should be pretty easy for GeoGuessr to implement.

third party websites do this already:

Sany Thanks I had never heard of this till right now.
Fairly good set up. I got a few nitpicks, but I would say its a super solid start. Really love the graph of the past year.

Canadagraphs there are also already Tampermonkey scripts that adds the rating history to each profile site:
