Account Linking for Party Games

Cheating in GeoGuessr has become a growing problem, especially during online community parties. On Twitch, for example, almost every stream ends up with at least one cheater in the lobby. At the moment, there’s no real way to report these players, since you can’t copy a link to a live challenge (as far as I know).
Streamers and moderators can manually kick them, but that doesn’t solve the issue. Cheaters simply create a new account or return in the next stream. They’re also difficult to track because they often don’t appear on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok, and they play under different names.
A possible solution would be to introduce an optional account‑linking system, similar to what games like Gartic Phone use. If GeoGuessr accounts could be linked to Twitch accounts, it would be much easier to identify and ban repeat offenders, which would significantly reduce the cheating problem in community lobbies.
Additionally, having a way to report players directly from party games would help a lot. Even a simple in‑game reporting option for suspicious accounts or repeated offenders would give the community and the developers a way to address cheating more effectively.
Together, these features could significantly reduce the cheating problem in community lobbies and make online parties much more enjoyable for everyone.
