As always, the team is hard at work updating the game and resolving issues reported by you. Read on to find out what we've been working on recently!
Note: It is now vacation time here in Sweden so there will be some downtime/a short break in patch notes being released but as always we will resume again in August!
Multiplayer
Improvement/features:
- Cancun Battle Pass launched
- Sandcastle season started
- Music season ended, trophies awarded
- Community Awards voting closed
- Competitive Solo Duels rating reset
- Damage dealt in the last round of a Duel did only show the actual damage dealt, not the would-have-been damage if opponent had more HP
- New navigation UI for Duels leaderboards/seasons
Bug fixes:
- Ranked leaderboard in Solo Duels broken on mobile browser
- Sending a guess in Turbo mode when there was 10-15 seconds remaining did not drop the timer to 10 seconds
- Fixed an issues where it was possible to skip game countdown in Unranked Team Duels by pressing Esc
- Fixed an issue where Pre-reset Investigations cases used old ratings, making them non-investigable to players with the new and lower post-reset rating
Singleplayer
Improvements/features:
- New singleplayer game mode: World
- Streaks can be extended by playing DC, World or winning ranked Duels
- New Map page which combines the classic och community maps
- Updated navigation on the start page
Steam
Improvements/features:
- Introducing Daily Streak, where either playing Daily Challenge or winning a ranked Duels contributes to your streak
- Updated ranked leaderboards to align across platforms
Community
Improvements/features:
New Additions to Investigations:
- Added Classic Games span for the reported player.
- Added Account Level span for the reported player.
- Added a "How it Works" page with more information about how Investigations work and how cases are handled.
- Replaced "Insufficient Evidence" with a Skip button to make it clearer when you're unsure about a case.
- Added the round timer to the replay, making it easier to evaluate player decisions in context.
Notifications on user reports:
- Now users get notifications when they report an individual and action has been taken on our end.
Blocking:
- You can now block another user from the game. And their messages wont be shown in Clubs and they cant message you.
Reporting Chat message.
- You can now report individual messages in Friend Chat and Club chat.
