As always, the team is hard at work updating the game and resolving issues reported by you. Read on to find out what we've been working on recently!
Multiplayer
Improvement/Features
- Launched the new Music season and handed out trophies for Turtle season.
- Closed Community Awards nomination phase and Voting phase is now open
- Launched "Challenge World League players" on World Championship page
- Launched the Analytics feature, available to all users (in Gold division or above). Learn more here
Singleplayer
Improvement/Features
- Default time setting of Classic has been set to 3 minutes instead of unlimited.
- In Daily challenge you can now view learning clues afterwards in the "My games" tab.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug with streak looking broken after gameplay even though it wasn't.
- Fixed issue with country feedback in DC and Classic not working in Safari.
- Fixed an issue with Reunion in Country Streak.
Mobile
Improvement/Features
- Both iOS and Android now supports playing in the divisions, with Move, NM, and NMPZ with the same rules as on web.
- OTP (one-time password) login method now launched for iOS. Read more on this here.
Steam
Improvement/Features
- We've updated the account management UI. You can now manage your GeoGuessr account and get an overview of account connection directly from Steam. This should make things easier for new account connections, and full control for those already linked.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed bug causing multiple Steam windows when alt-tabbing in Windows
Community
Improvements/Features
- We have now expanded levels in Clubs, as well as added new club-tag as reward.
- You can now report technical issues with rounds in Multiplayer through Game Summary (guesses not registering and black panoramas). If verified, your ELO will be refunded, As such you no longer need to create support tickets/bug reports to request ELO refunds for these types of issue.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where you could only close side tray in game using ESC.
- Fixed an issue where you saw your previous Club weekly recap when starting a new club.
- Fixed an issue with the Side tray collapsing when list is empty.
- Fixed a bug with the Map Maker showing same date for panorama picker.
