Subscription upgrade popup should be removed, or have a payment confirmation added

This morning while viewing the site on my phone, I meant to tap on something on my profile only for the "upgrade to yearly" popup to appear just as I was about to tap the screen, with my finger landing on the button to upgrade. It immediately charged me the annual subscription fee without any sort of confirmation. I get that this isn't a "bug" bug in the technical sense, but it does seem like unintentional behavior. I was intentionally playing on a per-month basis before because I'd often go months without playing.
I'm probably going to keep the yearly subscription because I do play GG enough at this point, but honestly I don't appreciate when a fully-loaded site modifies the DOM to change the layout/functionality while I'm using it in the first place, and it was quite disturbing to get an unwanted popup that could instantly charge $60 without consent just by appearing in front of what I wanted to tap on, after I'd already declined said popup several times before. I do like and trust Geoguessr and don't believe this was done in malice, but if an unfamiliar service had done something like this I'd probably be issuing a chargeback.
