Steam Achievemnents not updated

As soon as i started playing in steam my achievements got synced but after playing they never got updated again so im stuck with the wins/metrics i had as soon as i started playing in this platform.
Wondering if there is any way of getting them updated, tried uninstalling/installing but the achievements progression counter remains the same.
