Scroll zooming error

Zooming by scrolling with the mouse just stopped working. I had no issue with it yesterday. I tried refreshing, starting a new game, restarting my computer. Scrolling on the map works fine, but nothing happen when I try to zoom on the streetview. Moving works fine, the + and - buttons for zooming work.
I tried on google streetview itself, and it worked, so the issue is only in the game itself.
My partner has the same issue on his computer with his account, so the issue is not with my computer, browser or account.
I'm using Firefox. I also tried updating Firefox, but to no avail.

I can't even zoom using the + or - keys let alone the mouse wheel. Very frustrating.
Edit: disabled AdBlocker and AdBlock Plus for just the GeoGuessr website and it works again.

Unable to zoom in Firefox browser
nonbe
Starting August 20th, I am unable to zoom in the panorama when using the Firefox web browser.
-Map zooming works and moving location works as well.
-Have seen this behavior in duels (Moving and NM) as well as Single Player (Moving)
-I am using a laptop and track pad to zoom.
-On Safari browser zooming appears to work as expected. I have not tried on other browsers
random_wilbury

Thanks for reporting everyone! We have tried replicating this bug but havent been successful yet.
Would you be able to come back with the following:
- Which game mode(s)?
- Does scroll-zoom fail from the very first second of a round, or only after they've panned/moved around a bit?
- Same computer, different browser (Chrome/Edge) — does it work there?
- Exact OS and Firefox version.
- What mouse, and any mouse driver software (Logitech Options+, Razer Synapse, etc.)? Does two-finger scroll on a trackpad zoom the pano? Does a different mouse work?
- Do you have any scripts/plugins/extensions enabled? If so which ones?
Thanks in advance!

Filip Hi Filip, thanks for looking into this and here's a few answers:
- The zoom bug is present both in Move and No Move
- In Move you also get another problem, which is when moving around the movement feels VERY laggy / stuttering. This was not happening before and showed up at the same time of the zoom bug so I'm sure they're linked
- I don't have this bug on Chrome on the same computer, so it's Firefox related
- I use my macbook trackpad and the two finger scrool zoom bug is present there
- I'm on Mac OS Tahoe 26.2, Firefox 154.0
- Extension wise I had Tampermonkey with a couple of geoguessr extensions but I disabled Tampermonkey and the bug is still present. Otherwise I have Adblock plus and uBlock origin.

Filip Actually I just tested disabling Adblock Plus and the bug went away, so I think that's the culprit. There must be a weird interaction going on

Filip Hi Filip,
- It is present in moving (single player, classic maps) and duels (no move)
- It does not work from the get-go
- I have Windows 11 25H2, Firefox 154.0 (and the previous version, I don't know what it was. I just updated when the error appeared in the hopes it would help); my partner has Win10, also Firefox but I don't know more
- works on chrome
- I have a Logi MX Anywhere 3S (Logi Options+), the other is a Logi MX Master 3, neither work.
- I have tapermonkey with scripts to log my path, count coutry streak, and the kearnable meta script.
- I also use Adblock, disabling helped, but I also use adblock on chrome with no issues.
- I also have the same lagginess issue ScienceKarp mentioned, and it seems to stay even with adblock disabled (although lagginess can be caused by other things as well, so I cannot be sure if it has the same root cause)

Filip disabling AdBlock solves it.
