Since a few weeks ago, I have not been able to fast move on any location without being teleported back every couple frames, and it's starting to feel like an actual competitive disadvantage in moving duels. I am playing on CachyOS, and my device is a desktop with an AMD CPU if that even matters.
Steps to reproduce:
  1. Start a game on any map.
  2. Move one frame by clicking the arrow.
  3. Hold space/enter to fast move.
  4. You may notice being teleported back to the previous frame pretty often while moving.
Something that may have affected my ability to fast move is that I moved from the countryside to a big city for university, and subsequently upgraded my internet connection from ~80mbps to 600mbps symmetric.
I also did some testing with Firefox's network throttling tool and observed way less rubberbanding during fast moving with 30mbps download 15mbps upload. My hypothesis is therefore that fast internet affects fast moving in some bizarre way.
