The devs are supposed to be working on this (see my link in reply to Lennin).
For right now, you can try the following method to uncover the northern provinces:
- Start a game and move your mouse cursor inside the Seterra game map.
- While holding down either the Ctrl or Alt key, use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in on the map.
- Then you can drag the map down to show the northernmost parts of the map.
I know it's not ideal, but it gets the job done for now.
