We have had our team review this and they have confirmed that this issue is related to a game latency when you are placing your plonk/guess.
This may be affected by clock drift as well, so perhaps you can set your clock automatically if you are using windows.
- Switch on "Set time automatically" in windows settings.
- (Right click the clock (bottom right by default) and pick "Adjust date/time". )
