No timer set but round times out upon loading location

I'm on an Android mobile phone; when playing a map, rounds will time out upon loading the location although there is no timer set for the map.

Are you using the GeoGuessr Mobile app or playing on the browser version on your mobile?

Marcus I am using the mobile app. Also, this does not happen all the time; for example, it happened twice on Saturday, but did not happen at all yesterday or today.
