We have implemented a fix that should resolve the issues with the panorama not loading and being left with the purple background. Please feel free to create a new post should this issue persist/come back.

Marcus hello, unfortunately it still does not work . no google maps are loading . it's frustrating . performing on private browser window although causes other disadvantage like slow loading mags .

This happes quite often, this time i took a picture with my phone I ma attaching.

have to share, what a friend recommended me to do:
open GeoGuessr on an incognito (or private) browser window, log in and it works !
tried to log out and in on a regular window to fix it, but there it doesn't work. Google maps images were still continuously not embedded anymore since 29th of October 2025 16:00pm CET.
Hope this info can be of use for anyone on a temporary level and help the bug fixing team to get a clue what happened.

This happened to me too! Resulted in losing a ranked duel :/

similar issue for me too. but it showed the previous rounds street view.

Happened during a duels round where my opponent could see the map but I could not. I do not have the original replay but upon looking at my replay of that round my map did not move at all.

Round 7 wouldn't load for me but it did for my opponent who then won the game because of it (x2 damage).
I had to win this game to rank up so now i missed my chance of ranking up. Thanks alot.
