Horrorguessr location stuck bug

I am not sure how, but sometimes I get the same location back in horrorguessr after advancing, I can even move in it so it is not frozen or similar. However, in reality the location different and I get rejected: the last run I got back winnipeg, everything looks the same as the last round and I can move but the expected location to guess was serbia and I lost in confusion. I was playing in chrome on windows 10 on my lenovo laptop, and this happened to me multiple times but at first I did not catch on. This particular instance was after a boss fight the next normal round, after day 40. I do not recall this ever happening before the latest patch and I have played quite a bit before and after.

I am using Version 156.0.8078.47 (Official Build) (64-bit), there are up. It does not really make sense to try another browser because the issue seems random and I do not know how much should I play until it occurs, but it did happen multiple times, last time right after I defeated a boss, it might have been always after a boss victory, but definitely not after all bosses. The last location that got me duplicated was the Yeti boss winnipeg location on normal mode that to my knowledge narrows it down to one on normal mode, some square with a giant letters spelling out winnipeg.

Is it the same if you try it in another browser? Which version of Chrome do you have?
Do you have any extensions/plugins/scripts enabled? If so is it the same issue without them?
If possible, would you be able to send a screen-recording or send over the location that you got duplicated? Possibly a Google Maps link to the location.
