GeoGuessr Daily Challenge Streak Freeze did not activate

Yesterday I accidentally forgot to do my Daily Challenge but I thought I was safe due to the recently added Streak Freeze feature. Since I am on vacation I played on the iOS app where the Streak Freeze Feature did not show up.
Instead it let me play both daily challenges from yesterday and today. However after playing the second one the streak now shows 1 day again even though it shows I played all challenges.
Depending on whether the streak freeze counts as having completed the challenge I should now have a streak of 252 or 253 days.
It would be great if you could restore this streak since it should have been saved by the streak freeze.
