erratically flickering graphics

Using latest version of firefox on macbook pro, I am experiencing a concerning amount of erratic flickering/flashing of the pink/purple color intended I believe to be the highlight color of certain elements. It seems to be worse when moving the cursor. It happens on the homepage and on nearly every other page of the site as well, such as the shop. Turning animations off does not fix the issue. This could be actively dangerous to a user who has photosensitive epilepsy, please fix ASAP.

Aer So after doing some digging - a pink glitch in Firefox on a Mac is often caused by a software or hardware issue, potentially a conflict with hardware acceleration or a lack of memory. Its happens when you are running out of RAM. Rendering fails and you get a magenta texture.
To fix this, try disabling hardware acceleration, clearing your cache and cookies, switching to Troubleshoot Mode, or checking if the issue is due to too many tabs consuming memory.

Marcus Hardware acceleration is disabled, I have nothing else significant running on the computer, never have more than 2 tabs open, cache/cookies are clear, issue still persists. 2022 Macbook Pro with apple M2 Chip, 8 GB memory running up to date software and most up to date version of firefox.
