Seeing as you have had a lot of issues with black screens, round timer etc. If you havent already you will need to try some troubleshooting as per this article - https://geoguessr.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018253177-Common-fixes-for-game-issues
If its the same issue after this, send on a screen-recording if possible together with your technical specifications and we can look further into it.

Have attached screen recording of black screen.
Running on Chrome, version 133.0.6943.142. No plugins/addons installed.
Tech Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X CPU
32GB RAM
4070 12GB GPU
Have completed the troubleshooting steps to no avail unfortunately.
