Arrow keys to move the map not working anymore
under review
Orpheus
Hello, since today's update with the new key bindings it is not possible anymore to use the arrow keys to move on the map. Before, when we pressed the Right arrow key for example after clicking on the map, the map moved to the right. Now, if we do it, then it rotates the camera to the right. Would it be possible that, when the map is in focus (so when we open it), then pressing the arrow keys would allow us to move the map as before?
Thank you!
Filip

Does this impact the game modes we offer on site or is this related to La Ligue and custom game modes thats played in there (Equilibre or Battleship) ?

Filip I don't know about the other games modes, but yes, in our case it has a impact on custom games modes such as the ones we have in La Ligue, making them unplayable without these key bindings on the map.
I would also like to add that the "+" and "-" keys also don't work anymore on the map, they used to let you zoom in and out on the map when the map was in focus. For these, there weren't really used in our game modes but maybe some people found them useful.
Also, all of these key bindings are still displayed if we click on the button "Keyboard shortcuts" at the bottom right, that displays the shortcuts which can be used on the map.

Orpheus: Would you be able to provide more information on how these game modes are setup from your end? (Equilibre or Battleship). Some more technical information in particular. Can also be sent to support if you dont want to reveal this in a public forum.

Filip So in Equilibre each of the three players has a different challenge link, in No Move generally, with different locations, but each round the 3 players are on the same latitude or or the same longitude, so the same horizontal or vertical line on the map. In Battleship one of the players is at the intersection of the latitudes or the longitudes of the other 2 players.
Usually one of the players has an easier round, so when they find their location the 2 other players can use it to then find theirs. So what players used to do is to click on this first player's location, and then use the arrow keys to move on the map horizontally or vertically to find their location, without moving their cursor (as the locations are perfectly aligned). Without using the arrow keys it becomes way harder because we can no longer move on the map horizontally or vertically using a reference point so it's far from accurate.
